Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field required; ABET-accredited curriculum preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Industry certifications such as CCP, BCxP, CxA, LEED AP with specialty, or similar are a plus, or willingness to pursue over time.
Strong engineering and analytical skills, with interest in building systems, energy performance, and system optimization.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, specifications, sequences of operation, and TAB reports.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Bluebeam Revu.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-driven.
Familiarity with diagnostic and monitoring tools such as electrical multimeters, light meters, infrared scanners, and temperature/humidity meters is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily local and regional.
